Why BOACASA?

No youngster is left uninterested! It is our goal.

Every day should be a chance to learn something new, even for cognitively talented individuals.

A pattern seen over the previous few years has been confirmed by recent media reports. The headline "The level of our strongest students has fallen dramatically" appeared in Flanders newspapers in January 2023.

Even our most talented students these days don't always receive the support they require in the classroom to further their skills.


Without enough help, learning performance suffers, and many of these intelligent young people become weary of school, lose desire, or even give up.


 We demonstrate how to buck this tendency with BOACASA.

These intellectually gifted children and young adults may use their skills to address the challenges of the future if they receive the appropriate assistance today, both in terms of their social-emotional development and academic growth. This skill is more important than ever for our (knowledge) society to solve the social, economical, climatological, and other problems we face and are now facing.

Today's students are tomorrow's problem solvers.

Many schools are paying more attention to and gaining more information about this issue as a result of numerous initiatives, such as the Talent project. As a result, an increasing number of pupils are getting a good offer at school. However, there aren't many opportunities for expanding, deepening, or speeding up.

At the moment, pupils who learn more than twice as quickly as their contemporaries are not eligible for any kind of subsidized education.

Together with the more than 100 conventional schools located throughout Portugal and Belgium, BOACASA provides a solution.

We put into practice the lessons that scientific study teaches us and that research clearly establishes. Youth with great cognitive abilities require specialized schooling. Accelerated programs are the most effective means for many students to maintain their motivation to learn. It is best to approach this as a cross-school program as it involves a limited number of children.

Content and expertise are our constant priorities. They frequently lack experience in persistence, exerting effort, cooperating with others, handling frustration, and asking for assistance. The curriculum at school was either too simple or too advanced. Hence training is still required for these abilities. We can adapt to individual requirements by working in small groups, with a maximum of six students per teacher. We collaborate in groups all the time. We both teach and learn from one another.

While we discover the value of cooperation, each person pursues their own objective. Every student has a unique set of goals and a different speed. We provide our pupils a lot of independence together with firm direction. Our goal is to empower our students to take charge of their own education. In addition to a regular procedure, we educate them on the available possibilities.
We attest to the fact that their ability is priceless and adds value for others.

We increase the scope of our offerings annually in response to inquiries and requirements that come to us.

In some regions, if not all of Belgium and in Portugal, BOACASA is the only organization that leads expert accelerations tailored to this particular target group.

Apart from our extensive involvement in teaching, we also make a significant effort to disseminate our knowledge through other means such as free information sessions, guest lectures during teacher training, and pedagogical study days.


We hope that everyone in need, irrespective of the parents' financial situation, will soon be able to take advantage of our offer.



Just as there are top sports schools for children with sporting skill, we envision a top talent school for pupils with cognitive talent.
